Useful Places and Adding Groups

Useful Places

All people using the site have a Useful Places block. This block follows people, and allows them one click access to useful landing pages. In practical terms, this means that people using the site are never more than one click away from the pages that mean the most to them.

The links within this block can be customized for different users within the site.

Adding Groups

All users have the ability to add working groups within the site. Students have the ability to add Study groups; faculty and staff have the ability to create Faculty working groups; site administrators can create Courses and Departments.

As with the other elements on this site, group types are customizable. Different types of groups -- and permissions over those groups -- can be customized to meet the precise needs of your site.
